After ten monthes’ long and enthusiastic expectation, SONY finally annouced the accurate name of PS3 motion controller on yesterday March 11, 2010. The accurate name of Sony PS3 motion controller is neither “Arc” nor “Gem”. Its right name is Playstation Move which has been installed by SONY in the Europe recently.

SCEA annouced “Playstation Move” in a GDC press conference at San Francisco, city in California (USA). Peter Dille describled this product as “fast, sensitive and accurate”. And also he emphasized that it is very easy and natural for Wii players to be accustomed to the use method of Playstation Move.

Dille also promised that the high level sensitivity and challenge will ensure the intrests of kernel players.

In addition, SONY also announced a set of video games that support Playstation Move, including Move Party, Little Big Planet, EyePet, Motion Fighters, and the recently revealed SOCOM 4.

Peter Dille said that, Playstation Move will be released in the year 2010. But there is no word on exactly when that will happen.

At the appointed time, the first publish set of Playstation Move will contain one piece of Playstation Eye, one piece of Playstation Move and one set of video game. The selling price will be about USD 100.

Besides, the left handle of Playstation Move Nunchuk also get confirmed. It is named as Playstation Move Subcontroller, and the rim of Playstation Move Subcontroller will come along with analogy rocke. To sum up, the Playstation Move Subcontroller can replace the functions of DualShock 3.
